Due to the popularity and known local logo that Thirroul Guru has become, I have decided to create a Thirroul Guru T-Shirt.
I wanted the T-shirt design to be noticeable, something bright and colourful. I called on the help of two local artists Peggy from IKKE Textile Design & Print for screen printing and Kadee Cunningham for tie-dying and colour dipping. After many discussion, we decided to go with black printed logos onto the front and back, then tie-dye the background colours.
The final process is now complete, and I absolutely love how they look!! Due to the process involved each T-shirt is a one-off, hand done and individually screen printed and tie-dye, these first few T-Shirts are prototypes. Unfortunately due to the time involved in hand dying each T-shirt, they were to expensive to produce, so they never became available for sale 🙁
