After a long dry spell (drought), Thirroul finally received massive dumping of rain. So much rain fell in such a short period it flooded Thirroul Beach Reserve.

I haven’t seen this amount of flooding across Thirroul Beach Reserve before; it was due to the lawn being so dry that it could not absorb the rainwater. It was a welcome relief, especially considering the current bushfire crisis across Australia.
