DH Lawrence Reserve beach stairway access to the rock platform in Graig Street has recently closed due to unstable rock erosion.

Council is currently looking at the problem, and due to safety concerns, they would prefer the public to access McCauley’s Beach via Corbett Avenue Thirroul.

Recently the council has erected a permanent fence off barrier, with no more beach access!
