New Year’s Day in Thirroul is one of my favourite days of the year. The reason why I love this day especially early in the morning, Thirroul like a ghost town, the streets are empty, shops closed and hardly any traffic driving through; it’s a rare peaceful time in this otherwise busy seaside town.
